Personal Space

Some shots from my apartment I shared with Tayne in Chico, CA. We filled it with thrifted furniture, plants, books & fresh food from the market. We spent the weekends riding our bikes through Chico, making food, & exploring all over. After work most days we’d shower, smoke a bowl, watch a silly show or listen to a record and just relax. We’d  found a record player & an espresso machine at the thrift store and collected gems and trinkets and rocks from places we’d visited. We truly made it our own little home. Our fridge always stocked with good food and beer from the Co-Op and the market, our record and book collections ever growing, and the bike path only minutes away…we had the best time. Not to mention within Chico itself: endless amounts of good food & beer, a beautiful park, a loving and compassionate community, and an art store and comic shop. I miss that place, but I know it was just a stepping stone into my future of homes and adventures.
