Chico Farmer’s Market

The Saturday morning farmer’s market was one of our favorite places. The Chico Farmer’s Market is one of the biggest I’ve ever seen and there’s so much more than just the phenomenal produce (my favorite being the fresh mushrooms year round). There are garlic stuffed olives, almond milk, fresh bread, fresh baked goods, succulents and flowers, locally made scarves and pottery, and delicious Indian food among other things. I was always so happy to bring home a huge bag of peaches and fresh herbs and whatever else I could get my hands on. The year-round Saturday morning market was my favorite, but the Spring & Summer Thursday night market boasted Kombucha on tap from the Co-Op and some other vendors not present on Saturday. If you’re ever in Chico, go to the market, you won’t be disappointed
